every step has led us to this day.
2021
The year we met, everything just fell into place. We instantly clicked and spent the year making memories from beach trips and Thanksgiving together to our first Navy holiday party. It was the beginning of so many firsts and the start of a love that felt natural from the very start.
2022
The next year brought sunset picnics, new restaurants, and Madisyn's first trip to Austin. It was also the year Braden deployed for nine months. While he traveled the world, Madisyn stayed in DeLand continuing college and leading for Young Life, learning that love can be strong even from miles apart.
2023
Braden finally came home, and Madisyn graduated from Stetson University. The year was filled with concerts, two trips back to Austin, celebrating weddings and graduations, beach days (and new beaches!), and a visit to the West Volusia Fair. A year full of milestones and memories we'll always treasure.
2024
2024 was spent soaking up the little things and the big wins. We made it to the beach almost every weekend we could, attended countless basketball games, and celebrated the Hatters winning the ASUN Championship. We traveled back to Austin to celebrate some of our favorite people getting married, enjoyed Homecoming at Stetson where Braden was officially deemed an honorary alumnus—and ended the year in Atlanta for Madisyn's first Texas football game.
2025
This year was special nonetheless. We filled it with even more beach trips and adventures around Jacksonville and DeLand, celebrating countless birthdays and wins along the way. Braden officially got out of the Navy, Madisyn started a new job, and best of all, we got engaged! A year of change, joy, and the beginning of forever. Let the wedding planning begin!
2026
All the years brought us here. Madisyn moved to Austin, and we finally beat long distance. As we count down to our wedding day, we're so excited to begin the next chapter of our lives as one—and we can't wait to celebrate and share our big day with all of you.
